Half Marathon: 1:21:04 (Snow Canyon Half 08\') Short-Term Running Goals: I expect to be helping my team dominate my whole XC season Senior year. Be the fastest Decker in my family, even if my dad has knee problems.
Beat TA as much as I can. Long-Term Running Goals: Run a couple of marathons after high school. Run XC at Dixie College with my dad as coach(if he becomes coach by the time I graduate). Help win coach Holt a State Championship in Cross Country my Senior year. Personal: Everyone in my family has ran cross country atleast one year except my mother. My dad coached at Red Mountain in Mesa Arizona. Um.......I was way fat when I was 8 and younger but I was still fast. |

| | Went to the high school to run with some old friends. I was welcomed with a loud applause because of my mission call to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I went on a nice relaxed long run with Willner, Rob, Dyllen, Chandis, Haley, Sierra, and Cassidy. We got in trouble for some trespassing by some crazy old guy but really not a big deal. |

| | I ran several different sucky trails up the turkey farm road. All the good trails had a lot of traffic, and I don't go out to the desert to run with more people. So I kept finding my own paths to run. I think I gained endurance after todays slow long miles. |

My dad and I assembled a team for this race. We got 3 young bucks from PV. Our leg assignments went like this: Ty, Ross, Devin, Me, Corey, Me, Ross, Ty, Corey, and Devin. I ran leg 4 and 6 because they were the easiest ones. My legs were shot after my second mile. So I really hurt our team but Corey and the other guys kept things interesting. Thanks to St. George Running Center for great competition. Leg 4: 1. 6:07 2. 6:42 3. 6:34 4. 6:53 5. 7:09 time: 34:19/6:40 mi Leg 6: 1. 6:28 2. 7:14 3. 7:04 .86. 6:03 time: 26:52/6:57 mi I take full blame for my team losing because of my out of shapeness. It was still fun though.
